When to Sow Chioggia Beetroot Seeds

March to July

Where to Sow

Sow thinly in shallow drills 1.5cm (½”) deep with 30cm (12″) between rows, in a sunny location.

What to do Next

Thin the seedlings gradually as they grow to an eventual spacing of 10cm (4″). Do not transplant.

June to October

Keep roots moist throughout the growing season so they remain tender and succulent.
